Sharnam Sansthan is a voluntary organization founded in 2000 for social, cultural and economic development of poor & vulnerable communities. Sharnam is working for improvement in the areas of Maternal & Child health, HIV/AIDS, Education and Agricultural Technology.
Sharnam Sansthan has introduced & facilitated many innovative strategies like orientation & sensitization of stakeholders, advocacy meetings with concerned authorities, community events, slum level health camps, site cleaning activities, awareness campaign through Rallies, Art competition, Mehandi Competition, Doctor at Door Initiative (DADI), Sas-Bahoo Sammelan, Frontline workers meet, Group meeting with Pregnant women, Meeting with Rickshaw pullers, celebration of world population day, Youth Day, World AIDS day, Interactive Quiz on Family planning, Financial inclusion, HIV/AIDS, Folk songs & dance program, Istema Milad for muslim families, Magic shows on MNC health issues, Inter NGO Peer cross visit, ORW exposure/ learning cross visit and many drives like LFU drive, Spouse/family members meet drive, IUCD drive, Condom drive, NSV drive, FST drive for increasing demand of family planning.
